5. Kendall County Blue Santa

2026 seasonal status checked: September 10, 2026 — drive details not yet posted in the cited official source.

What it does: Blue Santa is a Kendall County law-enforcement-led holiday program that works with local public-safety agencies, schools, Hill Country Family Services, veterans organizations, businesses, civic groups, and community volunteers to provide Christmas gifts to local children and families in need. Scale of the program: the completed 2025 Blue Santa drive served more than 900 children from more than 400 families [6].

2026 status: seasonal details pending. Blue Santa is a recurring Kendall County holiday program, but its collection dates, participating drop-off locations, age range, and item rules can change from year to year. Check the Kendall County Sheriff's Office/Foundation announcement when the 2026 drive opens before buying or delivering toys.

How to give: items, cash, or time

The honest truth most wish lists never state out loud: for many organizations, unrestricted cash is the most flexible gift. In recent drives, Blue Santa has requested new, unwrapped toys; the 2025 drive accepted them for children through age 15.
